SKIPPY THE BUSH KANGAROO AS A NEGATIVE CHAOTE.

The Australian television series, 'Skippy The Bush Kangaroo', was made in 1967 at the height of the hippy era. Due to the esoteric explorations and drug culture of this generation, directors turned to more deep plots to entertain wider audiences than mere children. Nearly every episode of the Skippy series is redolent in esoteric logic from this period. Even the title character itself is esoteric. The kangaroo was first thought to be a fraudulent manufactured and faked chimera when stuffed specimens where first transported to England. Scientists of the 1700s were aghast at the creatures of the Great Southern Land and many authorities first thought creatures such as the Kangaroo and Platypus were in fact stitched together portions of other creatures - faked to make a new creature to gain cash prizes and notoriety. It was only subsequently that these phantasmal creatures of Australia were proved to be real. This makes the kangaroo a fata morgana chaote (a negatively-charged portion of Yin that generates esoteric and chaotic power).

Also, the term 'Skip' is a term associated with chaos magic. To 'skip' means to jog along in gaiety and happiness.

In the heavily chaos magic animated cartoon, 'The Real Show' there is an impossibly rare albino ape named Skips who extracts the main characters from perilous situations.

In the very esoteric 'Family Ties' (which ends with the palindromic UBU dog as a closing credit page) that "bets we've been together for a million years", the daughter Mallory is very beautiful and graceful. Malory wrote 'Morte de Arthur' which records King Arthur's death whose witch sister Lady Fata Morgana Le Fay had an incestuous child by him named Mordred who slew him. In 'Family Ties', Malory's awkward and ugly boyfriend is Skippy who is obtuse but has things turn out for him in the end. They form a diametric positive/negative chaote in the orbit they maintain.

In Melbourne, Australia,  a long-defunct vinegar company's animated neon-sign seems to keep pace with the civic heart beat of the city since the 1930s. There is great civic and community concern about protecting 'The Skipping Girl' from encroaching development upon the small site. Some feel it represents the community spirit of Melbourne.

Also, a skip is not only a shipping vessel but also is captained by a skipper. The skipper butterfly is particularly admired for it transformative powers of metamorphosis.

EPISODE 12 'THE SWAGMAN'
Sonny meets an Irish swagman, Mr. Trundle, and has a difficult time believing that the stories he tells Sonny are lies. The pocketwatch that he owns is believed to be stolen and the police are after him. It later turns out that Miles Vincent Archer and Mr. Trundle are the same people.
In this episode we see the counter-position of the antipodes the positive Odin (Mr. Trundle) and the negatively-charged Hermes-Eris (Mr. Archer) imbued within the wandering swagman. "To trundle" suggests a wheelbarrow movement or rolling. Odin uses the clockface circle inscribed with his runes as a symbol. Mr. Trundle the swagman, when he meets Sonny, is wearing Odin's blue coat and Odin's wandering red cap that he wears on The Wild Hunt. Trundle carries Odin's staff/swaying spear in the form of a hobo's bickle stick over his shoulder with a package of goods hanged on the end. There is much ado made about whether Mr. Trundle or Mr. Archer has stolen an inscribed and valuable silver pocket watch with fob. Odin likes to steal - prefer to do so in fact - while Hermes-Eris believes in jewels (joules) or hard work. Hermes-Eris is the Archer as he/she prefers dishonorable distance weapons where as Odin/Trudle prefers his "Swaying Spear" that is a hand-held melee weapon of honor (his bickle). What is ultimately discovered by Sonny is that Trundle/Archer (Odin/Hermes-Eris) like the Fat Man and Thin Man/Little Boy are ultimately the same persona.

EPISODE 36 'MAN FROM SPACE'
Sonny has been placed in charge of an automatic recording unit deep in the bush of Waratah National Park, supervised by Matt. While servicing the box, Skippy and Sonny come across an injured airman who has ejected from his plane, hanging by the cord of his parachute from a tree. In trying to rescue him, Sonny slips and becomes trapped on a cliff face. Realising that the weight of his body is ripping the parachute and that it is only a matter of time before he falls to his death, Sonny sends Skippy for help. who returns with Matt and who rescues Sonny, with help from Jerry and Mark in the chopper as well.
Initially Sonny is frightened by the parachutist drifting in the wind when he is caught in the trees. This is the same thing that happens in Golding's "The Lord of the Flies" with the shot down military pilot that the marooned school boys think is the Beast, Beelzebub who drifts in the wind caught in the trees by his parachute.
This is a recurrent theme of the Tree of Terror where humans are hanged from it and also recalls the Odin/Christ myth of being hanged from a tree / crucified on a Tau cross.
ABOVE: The Tree of Terror - The Irminsul-Yggdrasil World Oak Tree - La Puta The Whore - Hermes-Heimdale.
ABOVE: Odin hanged on the Irminsul-Yggdrasil-Tree of Terror to gain knowledge of runes (Logos) and necromancy (magic involving the human dead - to live and die as a man in a Christ-like manner).
